The Misadventures of an Orthodox Jewess

Gentiles always ask me how I could have lived in Vermont for 2 1/2 years without having learnt how to ski; Jews always ask me how I could have lived in Vermont for 2 1/2 years.
I split my time between New York where my family home is, Vermont where my university was and now job, and Israel, where my holy city is. It’s a scalene triangle of varying hechsheres and jet lag.
